WEEKENDS

Each month the youth group does a variety of cool activities.

Heartbeat
Heartbeat is a youth discipleship and ministry development program. We don’t want our youth to just show up, we want them to grow up in God’s ways and be mobilized for kingdom impact.

InnerNet Small Groups
Students are placed in small groups with friends their own age so they can be connected and cared for on a more personal level. InnerNet occurs once a month at various locations determined by each group.

Activities
Once a month a fun activity will be planned. We may go skating, paintballing, swimming or bowling. We may participate in city-wide youth rallies and concerts. We may have a sports night or a seasonal activity like a corn maze. We do crazy things and go cool places. Check out the website at www.rock-point.com for upcoming activities!

ANNUAL EVENTS

Fall Youth Retreat
For three days every September, the youth get away for a fun-filled, dynamic weekend to encounter God. Intense worship, powerful speakers, life-changing altar times, and crazy activities make this an unforgettable event!

Generation Unleashed
Be a part of the biggest youth conference on the West Coast! Every spring thousands of teenagers from across the Pacific Northwest pack out City Bible Church in Portland for an unbelievable experience. The hottest Christian bands in the industry and world-renowned speakers make this weekend one of the highlights of the year.

Summer Camp
The last week of July is CAMP!  This is an awesome week to get away in the middle of summer and hang out with friends and get closer to God. Camp is powerful altar time, passionate worship, inspiring messages, great food (well, pretty good food!), rustic accommodations, fun and games, bonfires, and best friends!

MINISTRIES

Short-Term Missions/Outreaches
As opportunities arise, we take teams out to minister in a variety of evangelistic settings, locally as well as abroad. These events provide students with an opportunity to develop their gifts and abilities through speaking, teaching, acting, singing, praying, and working as well as to observe first-hand the power of God at work in other believers in other cities, nations, and cultures.

REACH

REACH is RockPoint’s young adult ministry, under the leadership of Pastor Joe Jaquith and student intern Kyle Slusher.

REACH is a community of young adults who come together on Sunday nights for the purpose of understanding their giftings and calling both in and outside the Church, building relationships, laying a strong foundation through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word, and experiencing intimate worship.

If you are between the ages of 18-30, we invite you to join us on Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m.

Touch Groups

Touch Groups is RockPoint’s small group ministry under the leadership of Pastor Jeff and Karyn Wells.
We believe everyone wants to feel cared for and accepted by others!

Through this ministry the congregation is cared for, both practically and spiritually, on a more personal basis than can be experienced in the corporate setting. Care Groups connect individuals and families by placing them in small groups, based on relationship, gender, and age. The leader of each group organizes meetings, encourages fellowship, provides prayer and encouragement, and assists with practical needs. Touch Groups provide an opportunity for church members to encourage, support and strengthen each other and build lasting relationships. They are also an ideal opportunity to invite friends and neighbors who do not attend church.

Cornerstone Ministry

Cornerstone ministry is for those 55 years of age and older.

At +55 years young, this ministry group is the cornerstone of RockPoint’s foundation!  They are in the best season of their lives to reach out to others in ministry and service as well as to encourage and strengthen relationships within the church. They enjoy fellowship, activities, service opportunities, and evangelistic opportunities throughout the year.

As well, throughout the year there are many opportunities for the ladies of the House to get together—bridal and baby showers, banquets, and special events—with an evangelistic atmosphere for unsaved family and friends. Every other year a ladies retreat is the spring highlight, where a weekend of worship and the Word is combined with rest and relaxation, offering a well-deserved, refreshing break from the busyness of life! As well, Women’s Ministry is always ready to serve in practical ways—baking, serving, cleaning, praying, babysitting, visiting—using their gifts to minister to God’s people in times of need.

Men’s Ministry

Once a month the men of RockPoint get together for breakfast on a Saturday morning for a great meal, a time of worship, and practical teaching on principles and subject matter pertinent to men as spiritual leaders. These breakfasts are a great way to connect!
